I’ve scoured the internetz to see signs of being able to change orders.. I found some old posts indicating that we could. But a vast majority of players seemed dead set that your alliance to an order could not be changed.

Does anyone have any “official” recent info on order changes? It seems quite silly for me to have to reroll a new character to change orders.

I have as well, and have found nothing on the subject. I agree with you, I would rather not have to roll a new toon to join another order.

I thought that joining an order was a pretty integral character decision… assuming that you can’t be in more than one at once, which I’m pretty sure is the case, I think you’re stuck with the one you chose. It’s a character decision, so yes, you’d need a new character to choose differently, like any other personal story choice.

Effectively, this means that as an 80 with tons of progression completed, to change you have to restart a new character and rebuild from ground 0.

Keep in mind, this means that you can’t even transmute your armor since it’s soulbound..

Joining in order is what you do in your personally story, I don’t think you’re able to change it afterwards after you have done so many missions with your order.

The armour you can buy is pretty much a bonus for each order.
