Guild Wars 2

Ive had the game since beta but i stopped playing a few weeks after release when you could still change worlds freely etc. Anyway ive just started playing again and ive now realised im on a crappy world full of RP when id rather be on a PvP world. Is there anyway i can change worlds without having to spend £20 on gems, is there like an option to change worlds once every 6 months or year or w/e?

You can delete all of your characters and it will prompt you to switch worlds. Make sure you get any important stuff into your bank

If you just want to do sPvP or tPvP I think you can just guest to a server (pick one from the list and pick ‘guest’ instead of transfer).

If you want to do WvW though you will have to transfer. I’d strongly recommend asking in the forums and/or checking the league tables to pick a good world first because although almost all of them have some WvW presence how active and successful they are and their actual approach differs.

Like Lilith said you can transfer for free if you delete all your characters. You’ll keep any items that are in your bank and non-items that are tied to your account like achievements you’ve completed, achievement points you’ve earned, your glory etc. but anything that’s specific to that character will be lost.

For pvp, NA Anvil Rock i hear is the main pvp server. Iirc.

im active accross both tz so it doesnt make much difference, im EU based though
