Q:
Changing server
A:
Your berserker gear is probably soulbound. If you put it in your bank you’ll never be able to take it out again. Because it would be bound to a character you deleted. Make sure nothing in your bank is soul bound before you delete all your characters.
The way it works is if you delete all characters, you keep what’s in your bank and wallet. If you have a personal guild bank, you’ll no longer be able to access that once you transfer so make sure you empty it.
Anything that’s soul bound that you can’t take with you, you can try to salvage for mats, and then replace the mats. If you have anything like unlimited gathering tools, make sure they’re off too. Don’t forget to put your bags in your bank.
Last question. As for my wardrobe, will it still be there? I also bought a shadow assassin outfit, will it still remain?
Gosh, if it is soulbound like that. My hard earn gears is not able to transfer =\ Gonna be totally so broke if I ever change server.
The wardrobe unlocks will still be unlocked. For costumes you can just use them but for purchased armor or pieces you’ll have to use transmutation charges to access them.
You might be able to find a guild on a higher tier server that will pay for your transfer or loan it to you.. but many also won’t.
My guild lent me money for my transfer from kaineng to DB when I got back into the game, and payed for like 10 guild member’s transfers when we moved to SoS recently.
Also where you go and who you join depends on what you want to do. If you want to do WvW, I’d suggest avoiding PvX guilds. You can do PvE on your own time, but if you’re serious about WvW, I would avoid guilds that don’t focus in it primarily, but thats just me, because I don’t like being a pug in WvW nor do I like solo roaming.
As far as WvW guilds go, do your research based on what you want. There are more ppt/karma train oriented guilds that focus on sieging and hold siege for their server, and there are more fight oriented guilds that prefer to fight other guilds/armies in open field and only siege if there is nothing else to do or if it gives them fights (they may have GvG teams as well).
Maybe post in the WvW section asking for a guild that can help you xfer. I’d suggest a T2 server if you want fights and interesting WvW. T1 is usually full, and T3 and below aren’t much of a challenge if you’re in a good group.
Taking a break from GW2 to play various
Nintendo games..

Thank you so much for your suggestion. Really appreciate it.
It doesn’t matter what server, any server that has decent active guilds that has activities such as dungeon and WvW is fun. As for Anvil Rock, I hardly see ppl advertising their guilds to recruit ppl. I even posted in the looking for guild and recruitment forum, there is hardly any Anvil Rock Guilds! It’s really frustrating.
I really hope Anet will do something about it such as merging the servers or balancing the servers.
