Q:
Character Creation and LS2
LS2 assumes you did all of LS1 AND all of the personal story.
LS2 is an account wide unlock. If one of your character can do it all current and future characters can too.
So if LS2 does assume, do those characters call the future character I might create “the Scarlet killer” or not?
Plus (and this is more to your preference), the character I’m going to delete has 80% map completion. Would you mind or would you not mind if you delete your character that has an 80% map completion?
If I had an open character slot, I wouldn’t delete the level 80 with full map completion. At least not until or unless you have another character at level with 100% map completion.
Or if it was the first character you ever made. They’re sitting on the earliest birthday present unless you made multiple characters the first day you played that are still around.
If I didn’t have a character slot open, I’d personally delete the one Iiked the least. Even if that one was my only level 80 with max completion. If you like the others more, they’re likely to get to level 80 sooner rather than later and most critical areas on maps are not that hard to run to to get.
World completion would take priority over personal story fluff for me.
I deleted a character who was level 80 and had about 60% map completion. I’d always intended her to be a temporary character, I did what I wanted to do and then when I needed that slot I deleted her.
But then I like doing map completion and plan to do it on all my permanent characters, whether I need the gifts or not, so doing it again wouldn’t bother me.
I would definitely delete a character if I wanted to re-do their story choices. I deleted my sylvari early on just to change her from Cycle of Dusk to Cycle of Noon, even though that makes almost no difference. After that however I’ve kind of planned my story choices in advance to avoid having to delete.
