Guild Wars 2

I was just wondering, after having played Guild Wars 1 and having a load of different characters I noticed there’s no obvious way to buy more character slots in GW2 as there are only 5 to begin with.

My question is simply, can you get more character slots? (How?)

You can buy character slots in the Gem Store, you can either use real money or in game gold to buy gems and then use to buy the character slot.

I believe you can get up to 64 characters.
sometimes the slot expansion goes on sale for ~20% off.
