When selecting a character face, one of the options for female human is the one some people call “emo” that looks kinda like running mascara, etc.

Has that always had cat’s eye pupils and not round human ones?

Is this particular face a lore thing?

I think it’s just to appeal to people who are into cat/neko grills, don’t sweat it too much.

I don’t tend to use it often so I’m not 100% sure but I think it has always been like that.
