Sadly I’m one of those who needs these elusive Lodestones for their Legendary

Just wondered if anybody has any tips on how to get them is farming a reliable way or doing CoE runs the best

Buying them may be a last resort but I’d rather not

If Dwayna and Lyssa are uncontested, try farming Sparks and Air Elementals in Malchor’s Leap. Other than that, your best farming bet is Fractals.

Don’t buy the lodestones direct, it’s cheaper to promote cores instead.

Easiest to pug. You can do more but those are the easiest imo.

Hit them all up daily. You’ll get 12g cash money just from completing paths, as well as ~25 champ boxes, and plenty of skill points to craft up cores. And cores are much cheaper now.

We could basically call it a guaranteed Lodestone per path since no path will award less than 1.4g total (2 cores is 1 gold or so, convert CoF/HotW/Arah/CoE tokens into dungeon rares/salvage for ectos and sell to buy dust, or salvage ectos for dust, and Wine for 25s from the merchant).

If you hate dungeons, which are guaranteed d0$h, you will probably hate farming cores open world more because drop rates. So get to work.

Farming sparks has a really low drop rate. I farmed for hours over a few days and only got one. You’re better off running CoE and fractals, which may get you some, plus using the gold earned to buy them.

COE is easy enough if you run it properly, but the drop rate isn’t great. If you’re just after lodestones/cores to make a legendary or something similar, you’re better off just farming Arah or something for cash and just buying them.

I farmed these too for a few months. >_< CoE was the most reliable source. Upgrade cores in the forge. I tried farming sparks and even dumped a bunch of karma on orrian jewelry boxes. The number of lodes I got from both of those methods combined were still a 1:5 ratio compared to CoE drops.

Jade maw chest also has a chance. If you get enough of the wrong kind of lode, they can be sold to make up the cost of purchasing the charged one you want. Out of 100 lodes I had for the Gift of Light, I’d say 5 came from sparks / jewelry boxes. maybe 20 came from chest drops directly (jade maw, CoE). Everything else came from upgrading charged cores. Spend your skill points with abandon and save your crystal dust. I actually salvaged ecto to do this regularly. (cries)

I got my 100 lodes by farming sparks, I got about 1 per hour. It’s super slow but honestly, it’s one of the better ways. You can always farm money instead and buy them.

Farm the cash from your favorite spot or farm COE for cores/lodestones. Those are your best two options.

All three paths of COE are easy, and will yield you 1.26 gold + sellables + possible cores/lodestone for each path.
