Charged oiled ancient weapons
do you have the collection unlocked yet?
Step one: Buy the plated weapon at the DS vendor.
Step two: Go to a -hero point commune in a HoT map- (NOT a mastery point one) with the ancient stave in your bag. You should then get an option to charge it, same way you do for quartz crystals.
(( I like the commune you reach via the wallows ne of the Pact camp, quick, easy, has worked each time I’ve done this ))
The collection is unlocked, but I don’t have the plated weapon yet. I guess I’m rushing to get everything I can now, without taking time to do it a step at a time. Thanks so much.
I’m puzzled as to how you can unlock the machined weapon collection without buying the plated part. Even my glitched one that gave me the machined weapon completion without my doing all the collection only happened after I bought the plated piece.
Unless you mean you have the Dragonhunter Ydalir collection unlocked but not the Machined Weapon one? The Machined is a sub-collection you have to do to finish the elite weapon. It shows up in Basic Collections once you buy the plated weapon. The Oiled Stave goes to making the Machined Weapon, and when that’s finished you have one more piece of your Ydalir collection. Does that make sense?
