Guild Wars 2

I am having a issue with my ingame chat. I can’t see people talking to me and I can’t write anything into the main server chat. No whisper either, I can see the combat stuff. ANy help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Idk why nobody responded to this yet, but…
at the top of the chat window are tabs. change your tab or create a new one. you can also click the little arrow on each tab to choose what chat channels you want to show up.

Hopefully it’s just a toggle-the-channel-on fix. I’ve heard that new accounts are severely restricted in what they can do to interact with other players because that impedes gold sellers making rapid-fire spam accounts.

If that’s the issue, you have to play for a while. How long? They won’t tell us, because the spammers need to be kept in the dark.

I would like to thanks the folks that responded and helped me out. For some reason all my check boxes were empty, I hit them all and have chat again, you all rock!
