Just want to find out when that chest drops after taking down a large boss.

I remember taking down a large boss in a swamp area (not to sure) but a large chest droped which we had to loot.

I have since taken down two more, large bosses and no chest. One of them being the “Giant Champion” is it random or was it a different event or boss etc…..

Only certain bosses have chests…Now I can’t provide of a list of which ones do and don’t, but all the temples in Orr will, while many random event ones will not.

Only major event bosses have chests after the event. Champions and Veterans are just tough monsters in the world and there is not chest that drops for them. Sometimes the loot just sucks as well.

Champions usually have a chest in the room of building where they are spawning!

There is a HUGE difference between just a Veteran and something like the giant champion. A veteran I can take down alone, no way on the Giant.

I get gold on the giant and actually no loot at all, not even exp…

I don’t know what Giant Champ you are talking about so it’s hard to give specifics. If you are doing a skill challenge and you get gold your reward was the completion of the skill challenge. It sounds like this boss guy you fought was a skill challenge from your rewards. A naturally occuring Champ usually gives exp and coin.

By design you are suppose to be able to solo a veteran but not a Champ.
