Chests at the end of jumping puzzles.
Chest loot is hit or miss for most people, but for me its always miss. Nothing but garbage ever drops for me so I usually don’t bother redoing platformer puzzles only do em now for the achievement.
Love finishing jump puzzles only to get a warhorn and a healing inscription for a thief….
Just wondering, Xabbu, did you enjoy the actual puzzle? I think people are far too reward-oriented. Our eyes are always somewhere other than where we’re at. Sad thing.

If I looked at a big cave with many places to fall and die in real life….I’d better have a really good reason for doing it other than to have an achievement, otherwise, I’d be risking my neck for nothing. The question is logical. Does the reward at the end of a jumping puzzle warrant the risk and time involved? In the case of most jumping puzzles the answer is sadly, no. I think we should at least get a some coin and maybe some karma for repeats.

Yes I did enjoy doing them the first time, except the wind bridge in Goemm’s lab. That bridge was just a luck based thing that I got passed on about my 50th try.

just a different personality type What’s the reward for climbing Mt. Everest IRL? Basically an achievement and that’s it
I haven’t heard of any decent loot coming from chests. I have done all the most difficult ones already and I gotten at best blues. The malchor’s leap gem one I thought for sure would be good cause that was a real pain, but alas nothing of note

Ok, I’m always being accused of being too literal, so at the risk of having that thrown at me… you can’t compare a game with real life risks. Why, I’ve played games where if you died, you could lose everything you were carrying, and you don’t even have to worry about that here.
I am enjoying the jumping puzzles/vistas a lot… a surprise to even me, but I think if you MUST have a reward to value the experience, then maybe you should skip these “events”. Seems to me that’s shortchanging the fun, but… whatever floats your boat!
