I’ve found this question asked in different forums in the past, but have never found a definitive answer.

One of the effects of the chill condition is that skill cooldown is increased by 66%. What I want to know is, does this apply to mobs and bosses in pve?

As an example, the mossman boss at the end of the swamp fractal has an invis ability. If I was in a group that kept him chilled 100% of the time, would the times between invis be much longer due to the chill?

Thanks,
Achi

How do you chill something 100%? It stacks in duration.

Anyways, 10 sec cooldown increased by 66% is 16.6sec, 10 sec cooldown increased by 100% is 20sec. Simple maths.

I’m not sure you understood the question… chill doesn’t stack in intensity, only duration. If a mob is chilled 100% of the time, it just means that chills are being applied fast enough that the chill buff never expires.

And what I’m asking is, if the cooldown increase applies to mobs in pve, or only to other players in pvp.

k, my mistake. It should be possible. Just remember that some boss can reduce the duration of conditions on it. Also keep in mind its just a 66% slow, bosses usually cycle their attacks (use the attack that is not in cooldown).

If you have doubts, click the boss to make sure the condition is there.
