Guild Wars 2

I’m not the world best player but I do enjoy soloing a lot. I usually play Melee classes that have some more passive healing to them not active as in you gotta like self cast a heal and your like half the dps.

I guess a better idea would to tell you some my experiences for other games of classes I enjoy:
Anarchy Online: Martial Artist.
World of Warcraft: DK,Druid Cat, Paladin Ret
Rift: Cleric Duracell

Hopefully that gives you a bit of an idea. I have a 45 Warrior now I would hopefully like to play something new from scratch. I do like Range classes if it’s not to much standing still but I do dislike pet classes where you have to deal with a pet.

PS: How hard is it at level 80 to farm goal for say 1000 gems? If anyone has some kind of idea on this. I for one don’t have much money and would like to open new slots someday for more Characters.

Sounds like you’re either looking for a Guardian or a shout/ banner heal specced Warrior.

Gems are currently going for around 3 gold for 100 gems, this price is not static and can change dramatically over time. At level 80 you can conceivably make 30 gold or more in one day if you hard core farm non stop.

Might want to give the necromancer a look. I run a dagger/warhorn build(melee). Life siphons on crits. Ability #2 is actual life siphon. The wells I put down life siphon. And you can spec into a trait where your life transfer heals allies as well.

A dagger/dagger elementalist is also a rather versatile melee fighter. If you stat for toughness, it will also give you enough staying power to last through longer fights. Signet of Restoration provides passive heals. Consider a signet/aura build with the trait that grants 3 seconds of protection whenever you receive an aura, and look into the various defensive utility skills.

Beware, though, because it is a playstyle that can be challenging to learn.
