Hi guys,I had prepurchased GW2 long time ago and played when it was first released. I finished the game then went to pvp, then after maybe 1-2 month I stop playing it.

Now I am downloading the game again so I was curious about what to expect,I know things are changed and stuff was added,so I was wondering, could you guys please be so kind to tell me all the important stuff that was added from when the game was first released and what is the “new” stuff (new only for me of course) I should check inside the game?
Basically bring me up to speed please

so many things, and if you haven’t played that long a lot prolly doesn’t make sense to you.

The most important thing would be to go to lion’s arch and see what the devs did with the place. I think many items you have after that visit will raise questions, but it would be better then to spoil things for you straigth away.

Maybe you are right mercury, thank you for your consideration :P
Game is only 5% though,so in the meantime I have some other questions

I had finished the game with the Guardian,so I was wondering, the game has changed enoug to give me a “fresh” gameplay experience if I start again now with another class? (I realize that this is maybe asking to much, but who knows… xD)
Or there is enough new stuff to keep me occupied for many hours with my already existing lvl 80 Guardian?
Also,I remember that first thing I had done with my Guardian was to max the armorsmith and weaponsmith skills, and if I remember correctly I was also a bit disappointed because from my point of view there where not enough high end stuff to craft at all (with hight end I means good looking, unique stuff),in fact my weapon and armor where purchased with the Karma…and if I remember correctly,at half of weaponsmith or armorsmith (rank 200) you would still craft crappy looking stuff… so,they have done changes to the crafting?
Would be worth to start a new game just to have a proper crafting experience? (I like to craft, weird! xD)
With “proper crafting experience” I mean that I craft nice unique stuff and I wear it beign proud of it,not like it was (and maybe still is) where most of the stuff you craft are common looking skins (except something from recipes) and is also sold from certain merchant in exchange of Karma…or dropped by monster…that removes the pride one can take from the crafting…

They added a new crafting level (500). getting to 500 takes significantly longer and you will need to farm specific new crafting materials (many off them you get in LA, thats one of the reason I said so).

I dissagree that there are no interesting skins to craft. The issue is that not everything is craftable, and if it happen that you want a skin thats not craftable, then you end up buying it. There have always been some unique recipes and recently the line got broader.

Crafting never had been a significant part of GW1 and in GW2 it seems that it is less then other games. Personally I like that, but yompared to some other games, crafting is pretty light.
