You’re welcome. Glad to hear it is useful. I plan on showing more detail, like isolating armour parts so that it is easier to see which is which, for armour mixing and matching.
Can I make a request if you decide to add further improvements? It would be nice if there were images of the Sylvari cultural armor at night, to display the glow (or lack thereof.) Not all pieces do, and from the sylvari forums I know that’s a factor for some people deciding which ones to get.

Great resource, may I suggest turning on the fxaa for future versions though, seeing all the low quality artifacting is quite distracting and doesn’t show off the armors very well.
It would be pretty special if you would add the chat item id’s to these as well then we can mix and match easier in-game.

These should be the ‘how not to’ images for armour designers ..
The FXAA was on, Lil Puppy, but I didn’t save them as best-quality once I cropped them. I’m thinking of making higher-quality versions of the human ones though.
After playing around with the images (including taking new screenshots), It turns out that they can’t be made any higher-quality than they already are. And, unfortunately, that seems to be the best quality you can get from a preview window.

would love for a mix-and-match option! lol, but i know that is goign to pretty hard and probs too much work to accomplish. if even at all possible. not a programmer / web-site designer, any of that.. so i wouldn’t know. XPP

Would it be possible to add where to acquire each armor onto there somehow ?
For those that can be traded on the trading post, telling people which name to look for would be sufficient*. For the rest all you need is a wiki link either to the armor, or the vendor(s) selling it.
*Do any of the tradeable armors have different names on the trading post than you are using ?
One thing I’m missing: is there the “named” armor theme somewhere? (Devona’s, Zho’s, etc.) All I know is that it’s exotic and only gotten through loot.
Orian, that stuff likely would be harder to find on a single toon/account (I’m assuming that Kestrel found the bulk of these images by using the pvp wardrobe).
… if you have any of those items, you should take a screen grab, detail its name and stats and email it to Kestrel to help build the gallery .. that goes for anyone else reading here … if you have rare loot armour, you should screen grab and email to Kestrel to help with the gallery.
Another thing we can do to help Kestrel out: If you have a piece of karma gear that’s in the gallery and you know where to get it on the map (specifically the karma merchant’s name, which zone and location), add it here so Kestrel can add that info to the gallery.
Once again Kestrel, cannot thank you enough for all this work. Amazing job. Was just thinking of ways we could help you … it’s such an enormous task, and so useful to many.

So…. any chance you could go back and add back shots of all the armor too? I spend a lot of time looking at my character’s back side when running around. I wonder if anyone else does, or if I’m just playing the game wrong…
Also, how about adding a weapon gallery? I’m sure the community can help you come up with the majority of the more difficult-to-obtain shots of exotics, legendaries, etc.

Thank you for the gallery! I have a question. I completed the entire Sparkfly Fen map, and received all the Stately armor pieces from Karma vendors, even an aqua breather mask, EXCEPT for the shirt. I cannot find that anywhere!! Anyone know where I might find it?

Mate, I’m assuming you’re asking bout the Rune’s Effects..
If that’s so.. you will need all 6 pieces of your armor equipped with Superior Rune of Balthazar for the all the skills to be active..
Your armor will be renamed (Something) of Balthazar usually

Awesome site. Only suggestion I have for improvment is to take the pictures with slightly more contrasing colors so its easier to make out different dye-zones.
How did you take pictures of the complete “Guild Armor” set… and is it possible to get in for use in PvE?
