i know that the max duration extra for a condition is 100%,
so if i have for example 5 second of confusion with my scepter, if i have 100% condition duration it will be 10 seconds, and if i have 120% condition duration is still 10 seconds.

But imagine that my opponet has Melandru Runes (-25% condition duration):
If i have 100 % condition duration it will be: 5sec + 100%= 10 second – 25%= 7.5 second rounded to 7 second.

What if i have 140% condition duration it will be:
A) 5sec + 140%= 12 second – 25% = 9 or
B) 5sec + 140%= 10second -25%= 7.5 rounded to 7

I ask because i dont know if the cap 100% condition duration is before the skill is used or is a cap when the condition is released over the opponet

Condition real duration isn’t rounded. Only Stun/Daze is as far as I know.

From what I understand, all condition duration modifier work on the base duration. So your 5s +100% = 10s condition when confronted to -25% from Melandru will lose 25% of 5s only, not 25% of 10s.

Also, I think that if you go above the cap, you counter some of the condition duration reduction effect.

Actually bonus duration and bonus resistance are directly added. I’m not sure how the overflow works (cap), but generally, it’s this:

base bleeding of 10s
→ conduration + 50% —> 10s * 150% = 15s
→ conduration -25% —> 10s * (100% + 50% – 20%) = 13s

Also do remember that +condition duration% and -condition duration% stack additively, not not multiplicatively. That is to say, 50% condition duration with -25% is +25%, not +12.5%.

For a decent while, people thought that the -condition duration% worked off of the final duration, which would make it so that the -25% condition duration on Runes of Melandru would counteract up to +33% condition duration.
