Just following the http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Engineer_-_Condition_Grenadier guide, and it’s working pretty well. Still gotta get sinister equipment for trinkets. One thing I’m a little fuzzy is what upgrades should go in trinkets? And what back piece should I be looking for, just berserker’s?

General PVE and fractal runs is the focus. Thanks!

Not sure, honestly. The build is kind of hybrid condition/power (viper/sinister), so either Zerkers or Rabid.

You typically use rampagers or rabid for condi backpieces. Even though viper’s and sinister have power on them, the builds they are used on are condi builds. The power is just there because defensive stats are a waste everywhere in PvE.

exotic trinkets need black diamonds in them, or the super cool exquisite black diamonds.

also get salvagable exotic trinkets so you can reuse or resell the diamonds. (most trinkets not bought with karma are salvagable)

tbh go for ascended trinkets asap. you need them for fractals anyways.
