Guild Wars 2

I get disconnected alot from the game, and i dont know what i can do about it. As far as i know is my internet connection good, and im using a cable, so no wifi.

This is the message i get when i get thrown out of the game:

The game client lost it’s connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (code=7:11:3:191:101)

It’s really annoying cause it just shuts down in story quests and dungeons, so if anybody knows what i can do about it, i’d appreciate it!

Your better off asking in the tech support section of the forum.
My answer there would depend highly bout your location and your internetprovider. The answer would be however to change your internetprovider.

This problem is a personal issue. It is not that everyone has this problem (im part of everyone and I don’t have it, as well as many others).

Even though your internet connection is good (and I believe you) you interne tservice provider is responsable for relaying your signal from your home to the arenanet server. They can relay your signal through very great cables and state of the art data center’s. They can however also redirect it through a steampowered modem in a Gulag in Central Siberia.

If this is a consistent problem, you can try to complain at your provider, but customer support departments are very good at blaiming it on others and not putting the issue through to a technical support department.

The only and best way to let your provider know it is their problem is to leave them for a proper one.

okay thanks for the quick reply. I’ll contact the provider, i just wanted to make sure it wasn’t some kind of firewall setting or something like that.

out of curiosity how long has it been happening?
