If I consume a recipe, say I bought from a karma vendor, but don’t have that crafting profession yet, what happens to the recipe?

Will it be there when I take that profession? Or is just consumed and I’m out some karma and a trip to wherever I got it from?

I have not tested this myself, but my guildies tell me that it will be there if you ever pick up the profession. I do know that in LW I bought a pattern too high for me, and it shows as a red listed item in my crafting list the same way items you can learn in 5 more points do.

Yep, I never tried a higher recipe for a craft I already knew. I just added a recipe that was too high for me and it indeed shows up but red. So logic says that other professions would show up as well. Thanks!
