Why would you need to contact a developer?

I submit a ticket.
Do they answer where exactly ?
When you submit a ticket it goes to support, not a Dev. They don’t answer PMs because they get so many from random people who feel like whatever they have to say is worthy of personal attention from a Dev.
If you have a problem, you contact the support staff. If you have a suggestion, you put it in the suggestion forum.
You could write your request on a piece of paper and put it up the chimney. That’s the traditional method.
As far as I know, unless you happen to know a developer’s personal email or phone number, which they don’t make public for obvious reasons, there’s no way to directly contact one, at least not in a way that will guarantee a response.
You can try to contact support by writting a ticket, if the support staff sees that it merits developers attention, they’ll escalate it, and if more information is needed they can contact you trough email.
Other than that, you could try contacting arenanet directly trough postal mail, they have an address on their website (they also have an email but it’s for career oportunities, not regular inquiries).
