Recently started doing HoT metas and I was wondering is there a convenient way to join the map instance where the squad leader or most of the party is (assuming I’m trying to get into a full map)? Thanks.

I dont think there is any better way than asking who is in map with Squad leader or who is Squad leader and then right click the his/her name + “Join in the….”

Most experienced commanders drop themselves into a second subgroup to distinguish they are the commander.

In groups that haven’t done that, usually the players at the bottom of the group are in the same map, it automatically organsises this way from what I’ve seen.

You can also ask, who to join on.

The commander’s icon shows next to their portrait. It’s fairly easy to find it in the sea of faces

Right click on the commander or other player in squad that is in the instance you want to join. From the dropdown that appears select ‘join in’. This will take you to the selected instance of that map as long as it isn’t full yet.

This works in both squad and party.

To join a squad without clicking on the commander you can use /squadjoin [name of commander].
