I’ve been looking up the Corrupted Sledgehammer and to craft it I need 30 corrupted lodestones and a “Shaman’s etched sledgehammer”.
Now I’ve checked the TP and can see rather a lot of these with different sigils and different lvls.
Does any of that matter or can I use a ‘Shaman’s etched sledgehammer’ with any sigil and any lvl to make it?

The raw Recipie data that I’m getting from GW2DB and GW2SPIDY suggest that the sledgehammer required for this recipie is the level 80 “of rage” variant. Since they get their info by data-mining what is in the games own infobanks, they’re the best source I can find. That doesn’t mean they’re right, however. I can not tell you for certain that no other sledgehammer will work. But I suspect it will not.

Thanks very much. That’s good enough information for me to work with, but i’ll keep the thread open incase any has hands on experience.

I crafted the corrupted shortbow in the games first week, I bought a level 78 shamans etched bow at first, by accident, but it wouldn’t slot into the recipe, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going wrong!

So yeah, definately only level 80 Shamans weapons
