Alrighty! I’ve got a couple questions for all you GW2 players out there!
First off, a question about realm population:
I’m from the west coast of North America, and my current realm (Isle of Janthir) is not very populated by people around my timezone; a lot of the people on Isle of Janthir (IoJ) are from Australia / other Oceanic areas, and as a result, I never really have people to play with during the times that I’m awake. I noticed that there are free server changes, and with the recent population cap being raised, I wanted to know if there were any realms that really are based in America. IoJ also doesn’t participate in WvW. You might find a total of 1-2 people on each borderland, but many times you’re alone. I really like WvW, but one man does not make a team. So could anyone give me a suggestion as to which realm I could move to?
TL;DR: I want a realm that’s got a high American population, and also participates in WvW.
Now, my second question!:
I’m running Windows 7, and you know how when a program wants to make changes to your computer, it pops up a little box asking if you want to allow it? Well, every time GW2 comes out with a new build, my computer will start popping up that little box. When it does this, my keyboard can’t change the track on Windows Media Player (WMP) while in-game; I have to minimize, and then hit the button. Now, when the box doesn’t pop up, my keyboard can change the track from in-game no problem. Is there any reason why this would happen, and is there anything I can do to stop this from happening? I really do enjoy listening to my music while playing, but I don’t want to minimize all the time to skip tracks. At the rate A-Net comes out with patches, I have to go through this quite often.
TL;DR: When the security box pops up asking me to allow GW2, my WMP won’t skip tracks from in-game (via keyboard), I have to minimize. How do I stop it?
Thank you for your help!
