Was there a change in how crafting inventory is stored? I have a good number of crafting inventory that showed up in my regular inventory bags and I don’t know how to bank it with the other crafting inventory.

I know some scribe mats don’t go to collections. Like the crystals you get from GH nodes.

Do you have something specific filling your bags?

Most intermediate crafting mats never had a material storage slot (e.g. Dowels). And like Behellagh said, the new scribe mats don’t either.

Anet have never removed existing material slots.

Also the crafting materials tab will only hold 250 of each material. If there’s a material you used to be able to deposit and now it doesn’t move when you use ‘deposit materials’ that’s the first thing I’d check.

You can store more if you buy a storage expander from the gem store, and for basic materials you could also refine the raw versions (e.g. turn Iron Ore into Iron and Steel ingots, turn Jute Scraps into Bolts) since you can also store 250 of those.

With a few exceptions I think it’s unlikely you’ll need more than 250 of a material at once, and if you’ve been able to get 250 you’ll be able to get more later on. So I don’t tend to hold onto the extras.
