I am currently a level 80 necromancer and I have jewel crafting to almost 400. I also dabbled a little bit in artifice but I am not to far. I wanted to know if its possible to get more than 2 professions to max level on one char? I heard something about switching professions and such but I am not sure if I lose the level I had in my previous ones.

Yes. You will remember your recipes and level when you switch, but will be unable to actually use your jewelcrafting to craft things until you switch back. Also, until you’re filthy stinking rich it may be a bad idea to swap crafting disciplines frequently as it costs in gold every time you swap out.

Basically you can master every crafting profession on one character, but can only have two “active” at the same time, and it can be expensive if you’re continually swapping them out.

That’s exactly the answer I was looking for thank you. I actually don’t have any money issues. JC has made me a very well off person lol. I am sitting on 5 gold that I don’t even know what to spend on right now…I could try to go for some other legendary stuff or something I guess but i’m being a completionist about it heh.
