Hello guys,

I am new in GW2 and I am trying out crafting. I liked it so far, although I am now level 40 and I don’t know what to do.

The jobs into weaponsmith to craft bronze/might bronze weapons only allow me to get exp untill this level, and right now I dont know what else to do to get exp and lvling. Anyone has some tips on what should I do from now on?

I’d appreciate a lil help.

Each tier of crafting has a progression of items to craft (5 character levels, 25 crafting levels apart). Use the Discovery system to level up. Once you reach the next tier, you need new materials. The order is Copper/Bronze – Iron -Steel (made from Iron ore) – Darksteel (made from Platinum ore) – Mithril – Orichalcum.

You gain the most Crafting EXP through “Discoveries.” Discoveries can be accessed by the “anvil” icon (first tab of the Crafting menu) and it is used to Discovery new recipes by combining the correct combination of components. For weaponsmithing, Discoveries in general require the following components:

1 x Inscription
1 x Weapon component A
1 x Weapon component B

So for example, to Discover the Vital Bronze Axe, you need to first craft 1 Vital Green Inscription, 1 Bronze Axe Blade, and 1 Small Green Haft. Then, after switching to the Discovery tab, combine these components together to discover the recipe, while also gaining a large sum of Crafting EXP.
