Hi,

I am wanting to craft an Ascended Weapon for my Warrior. Here is the weapon I have chosen to craft: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Zojja%27s_Claymore

My question is this: Is it worth buying the ingredients and if not, how should I obtain the ingredients? Also, how do I actually combine all the ingredients together, do I need to level up a crafting profession or something similar?

Well you need to have Weaponsmith at Level 500, as the recipe in the link you posted indicates. The recipe tells you what components you need. Click on those to see what components they need, etc. Some you may be able to buy but a lot of mats required need to be gathered in game or from salvaging exotic gear, in the case of dark matter.

These are all the base ingredients. The ones without prices are ones you need to gather yourself. And those prices listed are per.

How do I get my Weaponsmith skill to Level 500?

It has all the guides and lists the materials you need to get to 500. Crafting is definitely worth it for the points you get as you craft. If you have a crafting booster use that as well.

Well you go to a Weaponsmith station, you can find one in any of the 6 major cities plus a few other places, talk the master and take it as one of your crafting skills.

Am I correct in saying, to get to Weapon Crafting Level 75, it will cost the following:

2 Gold
91 Silver
69 Bronze

And to get to Weapon Crafting Level 75, I need to buy all the ingredients from the following sections:

BUY VENDOR
BUY RECIPES
COLLECTIBLES
Mixed (Buy on TP)
