Guild Wars 2

There used to be a website that shows up at the top of Google whenever you search for something like “guild wars 2 leatherworking guide”, and that website had the guides that I liked the most, especially because the guide listed how many Refinements or refined materials you will need, so you can start with those, and not refine too much or too little. That website went down about a week ago or something, but I kept using its Google Cache versions, until it now does not show up at all in the first page of Google results.

The current guides are assumptive, almost elitist, mostly catering to those who are filthy rich and go buy all their craft leveling materials!

Can someone please help me by directing me to a resource with crafting guides that list the number of refinements needed, or remind me what the domain name was for the helpful guide resource that I mentioned?

I’m especially interested in leatherworking and huntsman guides currently.

Since crafting xp was nerfed in one of the more recent updates those old guides don’t have the right numbers any more. I don’t know if the update notes contain the info needed to recalculate everything or not.

In general gather/accumulate all the basic crafting materials needed for a particular crafting tier before refining them since you used to only get crafting XP for refining basic crafting materials at the lowest levels of a tier. Make all the components for the tier next because you only get XP at the early levels of the tier for that too. The amount of basic material and number of components is what needs to be recalculated.

The guides on gw2crafts.net assume that I want to buy the inscriptions from the TP; however, since it did seem like the best currently available option, and it looked promising, I tried it, and I found out that following the guide does save me gold, by buying some of the inscriptions from the TP when I do not have their crafting materials.. So that works for me. Thank you.
