Heya!
I’m thinking about crafting a second Spark for the “have two of the same legendary” achievement.

So, the most expensive parts of the precursor hunting are within the collections – and I already filled them, so… theoretically, I only need to craft the T1 pre, salvage it, craft T2, salvage, T3… finished. That will still need some mats, especially for T1, but the rest is pretty cheap. All in all, it will be much cheaper than the first Spark (and the ones @tp)…

Is this possible? Is there some component that you can’t get a second time that I forgot about?

You can only claim 1 precursor per Legendary from the Precursor crafting. In other words, you only get 1 Spark you an craft. Any others you want after that you’ll have to buy off of the TP or hope you get them in a drop.

Why is it impossible to simply craft another one? I can get the needed essence for karma at the legendary merchant.

From the wiki: " Players will be able to acquire one precursor per collection per account, these collections will be unlocked by spending mastery points."
Unfortunately I don’t know the reasoning behind it/what causes you to only be able to make 1. Hopefully someone else knows!

Okay, I found a little inscription at the T3 pre recipe saying “You already crafted this item” – I guess it’s a one time only recipe
