Guild Wars 2

The title says it all. But i could need your guys help! Is there any guide ‘up-to-date’ for doing this? A list of the 6-8 cheapest crafting professions?
I’ve seen alot of guides out there, but none of them are up-to-date, unfortunately.
All i know is that Chef is cheap due to all Karma-items you can use.

How much do you think it will cost? (would be great not to exceed 100g, if possible)
What professions should i go for?
Will the Crafting Boosters help me, alot? Worth getting a few?

I can answer that artificer potions 1-400 is probably the cheapest. Google a potions guide.

Also, 1-400 gives you 10 levels. A crafting booster makes it so you get 12 levels (on average). So, if you use enough crafting boosters you can go to 80 with 7 crafts, instead of 8. But you’d probably need quite a few boosters unless you have everything in your inventory and you’re going to speed-craft.

Unless you are planning on buying a lot of gems to convert to gold or have a guild that is feeding you materials, your end up getting quit a few levels adventuring for your materials, perhaps requiring only 5 or 6 crafting disciplines.
It’d probably be faster, but definitely cheaper, just to adventure, pick two disciplines to craft, and fight your way to 80.

Cooking & Artificer are probably the 2 cheapest to level 1-400. Absolutely use crafting boosters. And if you’re in a guild that has those perks, use them too. When you’re crafting hundreds of items, every little bit of XP helps. I went from 2-16 fully leveling Cooking with crafting booster and guild perks.

I was thinking you could only have 2 craft skills per toon? Is that not correct any longer? 2 crafts won’t get you to 80.

You’re right, was in a hurry while making the thread! So lets put it this way, which are the most expensive professions? I’d be glad to craft through 50 levels aswell. I just cant be arsed to level one up all the way

You can only have 2 active at a time. You can change discipline whenever you want, at a cost of course.
