Hey guys,

Actually i really want the precursor “the hunter” – but well. Deldrimor and Spiritwood is stupidly expensive and it is actually cheaper to just buy the precursor directly from the TP and craft the legendary then.

My question is – if i do it that way, do i get all previous weapons of the crafting also ? Because the only thing that i want is that kitten sniper rifle, that the old hunter used to be :P

The old skins for the precursors don’t exist anymore. If you didn’t unlock them before they changed precursors, then you can’t get them anymore (at least not now).

Edit: As Danikat noted below, every weapon except for The Hunter had a “skin twin” that you could get. The Hunter, however, didn’t have one. So, there’s no way to get that old one.

I’m confused, which skin is it you want?

Most precursors used to share their skin with another exotic, for example The Lover was the same as Feathers of Dwayna and Dawn was the same as Khrysaor, the Golden Sword.

The Hunter was an exception to that, it had a unique skin right from the start. But for some reason it was still changed to a new one when HoT came out.

As far as I can see if you want the old Hunter skin (the larger, grey one with a silvery pattern on the top) there seems to be no way to get it – as far as I know buying the precursor or completing the collection won’t unlock the old skins, only the new ones.

If you want the new one (the smaller, brass and steel one which looks like a mini version of The Predator) then either buying it or completing the collection will get it.

If you want the blackened, broken version (which is called The Hunter Experiment) then I think you will need to complete the collection.

Also you two are wrong ^^ You still can get the “old” precursor-skin. It´s the second recipe.

At first you have the experiment and then you have the perfect Weapon – which has the skin of the “old” precursor.
This is the skin that i want ^^

My question is – do i get all the skins from the experiment to the precursor if i just buy the new precursor of the TP and craft the legendary?

Ahh, I see that now (that the Perfected Weapons are apparently the old skins). To answer your question, yes. Binding a Legendary will bind the precursor skins to your account, too.

in my experience you do get the old The Hunter skin when adding the new one to the wardrobe. I had The Hunter precursor sitting in my bank since before the update, after the update I bound it to my account, and all the skins unlocked in the wardrobe, including the old skin.
