I already have the Gift of mastery, I’m halfway done with Gift of fortune (31 mystic clovers, 60 of each tier 6 mats).

The only problem I have now is money and karma, I searched up hundreds of farming guides, and all of them are either outdated or not that efficient.

I started doing champ runs in Frostgorge Sound, and it’s pretty good so far, only problem is it doesn’t give karma, and I’m not sure if it’s the best way to farm gold.

So please anyone who ever crafted atleast 1 legendary weapon, tell me how did you get all the gold and karma, and anyone who doesn’t have a legendary yet, but knows a good way of farming, you are welcome to share your ways too.

The only problem? So you have Spark as well? :P
The champion boxes still give karma although not or frequently. You should try to participate in the invasions if one shows up when you are on. You end up participating in many events so there is karma and there is plenty to kill so there is the loot. You might also want to get some +karma food. It’s not a huge boost but when you are going to a lot of events like during an invasion it will add up.

For me the hardest part was the precursor and my T6 and guy, 60 T6 of each is not have way there!

The karma? WvW, I don’t know what server you are on, but the top tiered once have these weekly karma train right before reset and I would say dailies, but that’s been nerfed :/

Gold, idk how I got my gold I just suddently had it :p The Frostgorge champ farm gives you a good amount of gold/t6

I reccomend you to get it in this order Mastery (easiest imo)> Gift of (Your Legendary)>Prec>Gift of fortune.

Having a pretty exspensive precursor it might be smart to focus on farming T6/Lodestones (dungeons/fotm/champions) and use the gold you get on your precursor, If you have all the ectos you need you can start MF’ing your rares, I have heard it was better to do that than to salvage them.

So recap: Do Temples/Dragons (Rares>Ectos/MF), Dungeons (gold/lodestones), Champ Farming(gold/T6), WvW on fridays(Gold/Karma),

Thanks! but isn’t it better to sell the rares than salvage or forge them? (each rare costs 20 – 25 silver), and it’s almost impossible to get 100 lodestones from dungeon runs, so ill buy them.

I’ve calculated all the ingredients that I’ll buy (not including the precursor), it adds up to about 600g… I’ve never been so motivated!

But seriously, how could I possibly get the precursor? should I try the Mystic forge or just buy it without taking risks?

I think Spark is currently sitting at around 700g, if I remember correctly. I use dungeon tokens to forge, while saving up gold. One of these will result in me getting it, eventually. :P

Well you could wait a while. Precursor crafting is supposed to be coming by the end of the year. It will likely involve the time gated stuff.

Took around 200 GS for a friend to get Dusk. I’ve thrown away quite a bit more daggers at this point. Unless you feel like gambling or have other reasons for not buying, just buy it from the TP. The odds are very much against you for the other methods but you could always go for a hybrid approach. Just save whatever rare daggers you happen to get as drops and only forge those while saving up to buy it.

As for the t6, trying to get the clovers actually helped with that but that requires more karma if you want to generate t6 that way.

I got the Dawn Precursor in about 3 weeks since the Ascended patch with these methods:

- Ori Ore / Ancient Wood farming ( about 20 min for all 4 maps – Warrior / Ele / Thief classes are good with their speed buffs )
* if I happen to pass by any Champion / Temple Events with ppl on , I hop in for the kill

- Dungeon running ( It helps if you have a regular group during these runs as everything will be much faster )
* HotW P1 – 10 min
* CoF P1 – 10 min
* AC P1 & 3 – 15 min each

- Guild mission on weekends – about 1 hour ( 2G & 8 rares for 4 missions )

I earn about 37.5G daily (not counting chest/monster drops or extra node mining from Gatherer bonus) :

Node farming per character ( craft to ingots / planks and sell on TP )
– 14 Ori nodes x 3 / 2 = 21 Ori Ingots x 13s = 2.7G
– 12 Ancient Wood nodes x 3 / 3 = 12 Ancient Wood Planks x 32s = 3.8G

6.5G x 5 characters = 32.5G ( 1st week of the patch )
5.3G x 5 characters = 26.5G ( current week )

Dungeons
– 5G for clearing all 4 dungeons path

For the Lodestones , I recommend you craft them using Cores instead if the crafting price is cheaper than the Lodestone itself.

If you have Black Lion Salvage Kit , use them to salvage Rares/Exotics with runes/sigils as the kit has 120% Ecto salvage rate with guarantee of the rune/sigil.

My order of crafting the Legendary was :
1. Gift of Mastery
2. Precursor ( For extra motivation / morale )
3. 200 Charged Cores
4. 77 Mystic Clovers
5. Gift of Fortune
6. Gift of Sunrise ( done last as the 120G price for the recipes and Icy Runestones is static )

Yea the T6 is the worst part for me. I only have another 400 materials to go and that will still take forever at approximately 25s a piece.
