I can’t find if this has been asked before in another thread but does anyone out there know of a website that tells you how many of each material you need based on what item you want to craft?

Maybe http://www.gw2spidy.com/ is what you’re looking for? You can search for any item and get it’s current trading post value, then you can also find out how to make it. Or you can go straight to the Crafting dropdown and look at items for your craft.

If none of those are right, you could check the wiki.
