This question may have been answered before but I cannot find it in the forums.

How do you create a buy order for an item that cannot be found in the Trading Post?

Normally when you want to put a buy order in for an item you search for it in the Trading Post and click on it and place the buy order. However if an item is not being sold it will not come up in the search, therefor you cannot place a buy order. Is there a way around this?

There is a “show only available” checkbox in the search filter area. Hit the X to remove it and search again.
