Guild Wars 2

I was cooling of a bit from gw2 and saw Witcher 2 on my table. I checked out the box and summoned the awesome game time i had with it, and it popped in to my mind,
I make Geralt in Gw2.

I checked out 2 classes that could fit for him ( ranger and thief). Mostly because of the medium armor, and the dual Wield of sword and dagger (is like a short and long sword), trough Thief’s combat resambles him more, the Ranger can use 2H sword.

So i was wondering anyone got a suggestion? Ranger or Thief?
And what profesions?

Just to say it is definitely possible to recreate Geralt as I did once.
I would say more of a thief?

As you have smokebombs and stuff. Using bombs and potions is kinda hard to do. :P
Maybe an alchemist class will be released?

Maybe you can use a ranger without a pet if you don’t think it fits.

I don’t think there will be a perfect class to recreate Geralt in Tyria.

Seems to me like the Gw2-Geralt would be a combination between a thief and a engineer. Geralt fights quick and mobile like a thief, but also uses potions and bombs like a engineer.

There ain’t. I Lazlo said ideally Geralt would be thief, eng and even mes/ele/nerco with the spells and hexes. :P

Well, of course you can, well, you can aproach his style I think ranger would fit him extremely well, even better than thief. Geralt is tehnically a HUNTER! He hunts monsters!
Trust me on this, ranger fits him better, even with pet. A raven/wolf, would make an extremely awesome team. You can use, spirits, survival skills, even TRAPS! We all remember Geralt preparing before entering a fight Now that ranger can have 3 s stealth fits him even better. But, in the end, it’s your choice, but trust me Geralt is a hunter, not a thief/bandit/pirate. Go with a ranger and you won’t be dissapointed.
