Crit Damage vs. Conditional Damage - Engineer
hello.
I started with condition dmg too.
Lately,i saw it was not effective vs bosses,and not effective vs many classes that can nullify condition dmg with skills or with passive traits.
Today i gone for critic dmg,and it seems fine when ii play with a zerg around.At least i take some reward now.
My main problem is actually to decide what kind of slot skill use with my crit dmg rifle.
Dmg with crit build is still low,so if i use elixirs,i will finish to do no dmg at all.
Turrets are problematic because they target random foe around,and not support with additional dmg my same target..often they aggro even mob on me.A pain.
Also turrets(apart from roket turret) do low dmg,and have long CD.Rifle turret is the only one with short CD…but…200 dmg per shot..useless from MY experience.
Net turret is good with 2 guns + condition dmg,cause it offers control..but useless with rifle that already have 2 control skills.
Also,if u place turrets in an occasional 1 vs 1 in WvW ,u are forced to stay in one place due to the long CD of turrets,and this means that soon more enemy will find u during a single duel.
In the end,crit build is fine,but i’m still not able to find the proper slot ability to use with crit build.
I find elixirs(apart elixir S) and turrets still not efficent,or simply i’m not able to make a proper strategy to use em in WvW.
