Hi,
I added my friend who is on a different server to my party but we cant see each other. How do we make it where we can see each other and help one another out?

You or your friend have to transfer servers. Since you are on different servers you can’t play together. This is bound to change when the guesting feature will be implemented, but until then, just make your friend transfer to you for free and once every 24 hours, and you can play together.

If you are high enough level you can do dungeons together without anyone having to transfer. Just both be near the dungeon when one of you goes in and everyone will get a dialog box to join. Even ’cross server.

Hey WolfsRain

At the moment the guesting feature is not available. This is due server population not being balanced (Yea don’t ask me I have no idea what that means either)

If you want to game together you will have to set up an agreement to join either your or your friend’s server at this current point in time.

Best of luck,

I haven’t done a dungeon yet. Is it only the party members that see the dialogue? Does this work for storyline quests too?

On a somewhat related note, how does a party deal with the scenario where someone leaves mid-dungeon (intentionally or because of network problems)?

Death awaits you all…with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Everyone sees dialogue, with one player seemingly at random speaking the PC dialogue. As for dropouts, the player can reconnect and rejoin the dungeon if it’s a connection problem without interrupting anything. If someone leaves for good, you can invite someone else to the party – either by having one person leave to recruit or from a friend’s list – and they can join the existing instance without issue.
