I have look at the cultural armor sets, mostly the Norn one and its seem to be a waste of time, the price is pretty high (120 gold for the total set) and there is no rune for it. Seem to be more efficient to take a dungeon armor sets in less amount of time and probably cheaper in over all ?

So why should we buy them ? Maybe for the look but its still 120 gold.

Not for me. The cult armor looks like crap. You couldn’t give me that armor for free. Thats one thing i have a bone to pick with A-Net. For a game that thrives not on a OP item with better stats, the skins on weapons and armor look like kitten. I don’t get it. Aion had great looking gear, even gw1 had better looking stuff.

The Medium Cultural armor for all the races is bleh.

If I was a heavy or light wearing, for the look, I’d get them.

T3 cultural armor is purely paying for fashion. If you like the look and that look is worth 120 gold to you, pay it. If not, don’t.

I love the cultural armor. I’ve bought it on many of my characters – mostly a combination of T1/T2. I use it just cosmetically. Yes, including the medium Norn armor, which looks great.

The only cultural gear I don’t really care for is the charr gear, but sadly, all gear pretty much looks like crap on the Charr

So yeah, Anet did a great job on the cultural gear by my lights.

I got the Falconer’s set for my Ranger because it looks awesome on her. I think it comes down to your aesthetic taste and how much you are willing to pay.

I got the medium female Norn set, love the look. But won’t be getting the medium female Sylvari.

Tier 3 gear looks really nice. I plan to buy a near full set soon, and hopefully another later.

I like the Sylvari sets and a few of the Charr sets. Not interested in the others though.

I also heard that when you get 80 you can make 10g a day or something, by reselling weapons and armor that you dont need and stuff like that

I am happy for you that you enjoy it cos my female ranger wouldn’t wear this if was free.

The up-side for me is that I do not need to fret over having enough gold or karma to get the stuff …
