Cultural armour
In their respective capital cities.
The icon is about the same as for normal vendors, but you can easily make them out cause there are three of them in one place.
You realise that achievement is pretty expensive?
Thanks. Yes, I read a previous q and a that said it was something like 100g!! I probably won’t be doing it all at once…lolol
Not…quite 100.
I would have to look it up but: 5 races, each selling 3 t3 armor sets, 6 pieces each.
Every peace an average cost of 20? gold I believe.
(5*6)*3*20=30*3*20=90*2*10=180*10=1800
A friend of mine looked at the lowest tier and thought he could just ‘get that achievement’, quickly bought about 200 gold worth of cultural armor before he realised he could never finish it. Thats why im asking.

Not quite. There are three tiers of armor for each race. Tier 1 armors are between 34 and 80 silver; Tier 2 are between 80 silver and 2 gold; Tier 3 are between 12 gold and 30 gold. The total cost ends up being ~641 gold. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Cultural_armor
Also, there’s only one achievement per each race armor collection, and you only get it by getting ALL the needed pieces from ALL the tiers. Once you have all of those achievements, you get The Emperor title. So, your friend could have at least finished one (maybe two, if he bought 200g worth) of the complete racial collections, assuming he wasn’t just trying to buy everything from each tier.

Ah, kay. So you need only either light, medium or heavy. Told you I would have to look it up.
The important thing (I think) is that you need to buy 1 piece for each armour slot for each tier.
That seems to be the one that catches people out most often. They think they can do something like buying the light, medium and heavy Tier 1 sets – which add up to 18 pieces – and get the achievement that way. Or buy 3 T3 hats and no coats. But it doesn’t work and they end up wasting their money.
(You can mix and match, like buying T1 heavy coat and leggings and light hat, shoulders, gloves and boots then medium T2 and T3. But it has to be 1 piece for each slot from each tier.)
