Guild Wars 2

I know that the daily quest always drops a Mystic Coin and has a chance to drop something else. Is the drop rate for the extra items static or does ArenaNet adjust it every now and then? I was getting an extra item quite a bit in the beginning of the game and now haven’t gotten an extra item for about 2 and a half weeks. It’s gotten to the point that I really don’t care about completing the daily quest because I can buy Mystic Coins on the cheap whenever I want. Has anyone else noticed a change in drop rate of of the extra items?

Well, I mostly play untill or after the daily reset (on EU servers), So when it is 60-30 minutes before it is time I might check what I need. If it is one event or three more gatherings, or 2 more unique kills, I might try to make it before the reset. But you are right, If I am far away I don’t care.

The last “bonus item” I got was a Mystic Forge Conduit (which I would never use) about two and a half weeks ago. A guildmate did get a bonus item (also a Mystic Forge Conduit) last night when he completed his dailies.

I’m not sure if the rates changed, or if the rate is naturally low enough that you will get “streaks of luck”. I have only missed my dailies twice since pre-view, and have seen a bonus item 4 or 5 times.
