Guild Wars 2

I’d assume you guys would know what I’m talking about from the title. Which one do you personally prefer and why? I do realize one is a specialization and one is not but I’m choosing between the two soo..yeah.

I’d also post in class subforums if I wasn’t asking about two different ones so please excuse that.

Revenant, because I’m a sloot for boons.

Daredevil vs Herald would probably be a more comparable title.

I personally prefer Daredevil more for its dps and snap-reflexes gameplay (plus you are pretty much a ninja). However, Herald would probably be more desired in Raids and high-lvl fractals.

The REAL Daredevil is Charlie Cox, duh! :P

Daredevil and Herald are actually quite sumilar if you ignore stealth, but anything above 1v1 in WvW (barely even that), Herald reigns totally supreme in every area.

Tough call. I’ve mained a Rev since HoT came out, and just started playing a DD. So right now, I’m having more fun with the DD since it’s new to me. But The Rev is my trusty fallback.

What class do you currently main? What playstyles are you looking for?

DD and herald are both pretty similar in feel. Personally, I prefer daredevil as it’s a little faster-paced and the initiative-based gameplay is really satisfying. If you like playing glass cannon/dps, I’d recommend daredevil. Herald feels a little slower (very minimally, but it’s there), but you can also take significantly more damage than a thief and it’s easier to get used to if you’re not someone who usually plays squishy characters. If you’re used to playing a tankier build, go for herald.

Daredevil is way more fun, but way more dangerous to play. So it’s up to you whether you want to be a stoop kid… or a daredevil. XD

I deleted my thief shortly after getting all the thief achievements. I thought my thief was too hard to play, I didn’t enjoy her. I am just not into the passive skills, the tricks and the traps. Just not my personal playing style.

Rev is interesting, I like that you can rotate through the different trait lines and that leads to some interesting combinations.
