Is it possible to go from dead state to full alive in WvW? By full alive I mean the everyday state where you attack using your regular weapon skills etc…

I stomped someone in WvW and maybe I killed one guard (which was about 5 sec max) and he was there still attacking me… Impossible for him to travel back that fast!

The only thing I can think of is leveling. But as far as I remember it is just when downed that it works.

Well!

There’s no “dead state to full alive” gimmick, as far as I know.

He could have rallied at the last moment?
He could have been rezzed by an utility skill?
E.g. Elementalist Revival of Air / Water / Earth, Mesmer Illusion of Life, and so on.

I suspect you may have come across a warrior. They have a downed state skill where they can return to full life for a short period of time. After a while they die again unless they kill a foe in which case they fully res.

OP said he stomped him and, if I read it right, 5 seconds later the guy was back up. The stomping will rule out downed skill revival mechanics.

The only thing I can think of legit is that it was someone else. The first guy wps out and a second guy he didn’t see shows up just then.
