So I just found a Delusion and it’s asking me to select stats for it (it’s account bound otherwise I would just sell it). Now if I choose PVT stats can I salvage it will I have a chance at a Soldier’s inscription?

Also I the old travelers stats were changed to Dire… so why does it even have this option? Shouldn’t it have just been changed to dire through the patch (and thus be able to be sold)?

If it’s something that was in you stash when the update took effect, then it will give you the option to change it to what you want (I’m not sure of the exact details of the choices you get to choose from, however). The Traveler’s to Dire change was only for items being crafted after the update (as I understood it). No existing items automatically changed to a stat spec that I’m aware of.

You SHOULD get a chance at a dire inscription if you set the stats to that.
