Hey guys I got a question about Deluxe Gear Boxes.
I’m currently lvl 69 and I have some Boxes, now my question is should I open them now or wait till I’m lvl 80?

Actually, I dont know how true this is, but I’ve heard that ascended materials, like bloodstone dust, only drop to level 80 characters.

I do not know if this includes the boss bags nor do I know if it is an issue to you because dust gets really abundant eventually. However, it’s something to consider.

The contents of bags and boxes dropped by enemies is set when the item drops, so the loot will NOT get better as you level higher (or a higher level character opens it).

I’m not 100% sure about reward boxes, but from my experience during the Clockwerk Invasions, their contents also appears to be set when generated (not when opened).

The only difference should be the level of the gear inside but you can still get the loot box specific skins on a non-80. The other items are determined by the rarity of the box which is already set when dropped.

I think the loot these bags drop is not set when you get the bag. remember the bags from the gauntlet? people saved up thousands, then they patched it and made them not give silver anymore.
my guess is that you will get level 69 loot from it, and probably no bloodstone dust. but I do request you open a few (less than 5) and tell us the results
