Different recipe at lvl-100 for lvl-0 item?
Yes, armor smithing has the same type of deal, rune of strength has two recipes for the same rune. And I believe it uses the crystal fragments as well.
Why does it do that? The more advanced recipe doesn’t change anything?
Because at level 100 the level 0 recipe will no longer give any experience. If you happen to have the higher level materials, it’s another means of getting crafting experience from discovery. If you’re just looking to craft the rune or sigil, use the lower level recipe.
OK. So it’s actually the same outcome so I might as well use the lower level recipe.
However, is there a difference if I set the same rune into different armor?
Like I crafted that rune for my level 5 armor. So when applying it to level 30 armor, does it have better effect or give the same effect as it did on the lvl 5 armor?
The only difference is that it uses a higher crafting material, and gives crafting experience at a higher level.
It’s strictly there as a convenience to level crafting if you happen to have the materials on hand.
