Disabling "ability is fully trained" reminder
I don’t believe you can (I’ve assumed you completed Pact Mastery).
You have three choices:
- Spend the two points now, confident that before you finish XP on the mastery track you really want, that you’ll also earn the rest of the points to train.
- Don’t spend the two points and work quickly to earn the other mastery points.
- Pretend that you can’t see the annoying reminder.
This seems to only happen on select accounts. I have several (perhaps, 19) unspent Mastery Points, every Mastery line with full tracks (needing Master Points spent), and I don’t get that message.
You might consider a ticket to the CS Team, to see if they have any suggestions. Or, you might have to wait for a ‘bug fix’.
Good luck.
When I try to login and submit a ticket on the GW2 website I get redirected to the support knowledgebase and apparently logged out again. Anyone else having this? I can’t support a ticket if loggin in to their website wont work.

I just tried, and I did have to log in to the website a second time, but that was enough for me to start the ticket process.
- I first logged in to these forums
- Opened https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/requests/new in another tab
- Clicked “Sign In”, which reloaded the page and had Greener.6204 in the top-right of the page
- Was able to select a ticket descriptor from the drop-down menu
I have noticed that Chrome sometimes logs me out of the forums if I close all my previous tabs. I’m sure that’s due to a setting I have somewhere.
Final note: Are you able to double click the “Legendary Crafting” in the picture you posted and move the check mark to it? It’s a shot in the dark, but just checking to see if that helps.

In the future, you can always submit a ticket to the CS Team without logging in. There’s an option at the bottom that says something like: “Can’t log in? Submit a ticket anonymously.” It makes absolutely no difference whether one is logged in or not when submitting a ticket.
@Greener: The option you want is ‘Retain/remember tabs on closure’, or some such wording. (I use Firefox, so I’m not sure what the wording is for Chrome.)
Good luck.
I’d love to be able to disable this thing. I got HoT but dislike it and will not be doing masteries. I just play the core game now. The kitten ed thing pops up all the time.
Seems like I’ll just have to live with it.
