Display InGame time
I’m not sure there are events that only trigger at a certain time? That said as far from what I know there is only the real time clock, but not an in-game time per se.
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
@Rouven: There’s a timed event at the Shaemoor’s graveyard (south of Divinity’s Reach). You have to speak to one of the caretakers/priests to trigger it for the following night.
Unfortunately the time displayed by ticking the In-Game Clock setting is the realworld (outside the game world) time not the gameworld time (inside the game world).
Interesting! I’m usually not a big fan of these restrictions. Not that they don’t make sense, but since (per wiki) the day lasts 80 min and night 40 min I would not want to wait an hour for it to start.
Maybe someone knows when the cycle starts, that could be helpful.

I didn’t know that.
Learning something new every day.
I would kind of like that, but i would want the ‘timezones’ to be consistent. Like for example I’m swimming in the Bloodtide coast and the sun has just set. I should not go to Lions Arch and see that it’s now the middle of the day for some reason. Moot I know, but that’s me.
I would like something akin to “Don’t Starve’s” clock…since there are some foods whose buffs depend on the time of day which you cannot always tell (Inside dungeons)…I know…I know..Just don’t use that food…but still I think it would be a graceful way to handle this request.
-Get a pet Sylvari. If they’re glowing, it’s night.
-Look up. If the sky is dark, it’s probably night.
-Buy an exotic weapon from the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon. At night, they glow a ghostly blue. During the day they look relatively normal.
I don’t think a map clock showing ingame time would work because the different maps are on different times of the day. One map will be daytime and another will be nighttime. The map clock would need to be able to easily switch between these each time you waypoint to another map.
