I have no intention of trying to craft Ascended or Legendary gear so is there anything I can create with Dragonite or Bloodstone ores I have in their hundreds?

Everything they make seems to be Bound and require a huge grind of content I don’t want to play in order to get the mats, so as I see it all I can do is toss them away from cluttering up my bank.

Is there anything I’m missing that I can create without the slog to reach 500 in crafts that I could actually sell?

I destroyed thousands upon thousands of the stuff until I finally got lev 500 in crafting and started to make ascended gear. Until you are ready for making ascended gear, the best option would probably be to get the Princess to eat the dragonite ore. It’s pretty easy to acquire https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Princess

The Mawdrey and the Star of Gratitude will eat the other two but they are more of a problem to get (with Christmas coming, you might be able to get the Star again so keep an eye out for this).

Ingots of both types are used for some guild hall upgrades.

Bloodstone dust is used in at least one legendary weapon collection. You have to leave offerings at a bunch of shrines.

If none of that matters, you could simply feed the ore and dust to Mawdrey, Princess, or Herta for rewards. Better than just tossing it.

It’s worth keeping some on hand, in case you change your mind — it’s easy to accumulate except when you find yourself in sudden need, and then the process seems too slow (source: 100s of posts from players with too much, dozens of posts from players with too little).

Thanks guys, I wasn’t aware of the Star nor Mawdrey/Herta, however I had forgotten about Princess which I now recall discovering some time back and thinking that was a use for the Dragonite, then proceeded to forget it!
