Hello, I am new to the game and I want to craft ( at least try
) legendary items. So my question is, do i need to learn recipes or max weaponsmithing in order to craft things from mysthic forge? Thanks for answers.

To craft things in the mystic forge you dont need to max a crafting profession.
However, to make the legendary weapon you need to craft two items. Wich ones depends on the legendary weapon. Each one need a recipe that cost 10 gold. to craft those items you need a crafting discipline at max level (wich crafting discipline depends on the legendary weapon).

Be advised that legendary weapons require A LOT of farming (I’ve been playing since launch and I don’t have one, but I never farm) and are merely (kitten) skins. Good luck!

Say you don’t feel like craftign one, but your friend happens to be a maxed out crafter. Can your friend just make you the weapon, or is it something like “Bind on Acquire”?
They are Account Bound. You can swap them between your own characters, put into bank etc but you can not sell them in TP or mail to other players. So, no, your maxed crafter friend can not make you ascended weapons.
well crap. How much gold/time would you think it would take to max out a profession? Also have to think of which one to max out for which weapons/gear. Maybe huntsman for a bow or artificer for staff :/

Ascended weapons is account bound, and cant be crafted on other accounts.
Legendary weapons (apart from HOPE, Nevermore and Astralaria) are unbound upon creation, and can be sold/mailed around, so you could indeed have a friend make it for you.
An important thing to keep in mind though is that all the gifts used to craft it are account bound, so you cant mail gifts of exploration etc. Same goes for some of the mats used in them such as mystic clovers(which your friend will need to craft), obsidian shards and icy runestones.

Yes and no. They are max stat weapons(like ascended) with stat swap available out of combat as well as having unique skins. The skins, like any other skin in the game, gets added to your account wardrobe once bound to the account and you can transmute the skin onto another weapon.
