I really dislike doing personal story: this is a game, not a real life or a movie, so i don’t care how “my personal story” will ends.
I did some chapters up to lvl 70 just to get more exp while leveling , but since i dinged lvl 80 i have no will to continue with it … I have no idea how long it will takes to finish this annoying “kill 50 foes here and there over and over again”? I migt finish it, if there are only few chapters left, like no more then 2 or 3 hours, but it seems that it never ends?
Do i get some awesome rewards for completing the story or what is this good for?

If you’re only interested in the rewards and don’t care about the story then no, there’s no reason to finish it.

I think the only unique reward is a Pact Weapon chest, but the weapons themselves are tradable, so if you wanted one (or more) and didn’t want to complete the story you could just buy them.

As for the rewards, there are some, the Heart of Thorns Story give you a Broken Caladbolg at the end which you can restore to become a Ascended Weapon of your choice (5 type and you can re-choose the weapon with 1k unbound magic)

Edit: same question for Map exploration: what do i get for exploring 100% of the maps? I am at 60% at the moment.

100% exploration gives you 2 Gifts of Exploration, used in crafting Legendary’s. If you aren’t interested in that or won’t be doing it for years then you really don’t need it now.
Running around to open up the waypoints is still handy though, just leave all the hearts, POI and vistas. That way you can travel quickly where and when you want.

I’m doing the quest for HOPE, the legendary pistol, and at one step it required me to pick up and item from Anise in the throne room. I know you have to do the personal story to get access to it, don’t remember how far into the story though. If I hadn’t done the personal story, I would be stuck here. I can imagine that they put such requirements into other quests for legendary weapons, so it’s possible that if you want to get one at some point, you have to proceed in the personal story to unlock some area.

I’m pretty sure there’s no story requirement to enter the throne room.
